GMP-S

Published instruments. Free to the field. Because the value was never the channel.

For thirty years we have designed surveys and coached the people who take them. In 2026, the delivery is close to free. The real work happens when someone looks at their own data, honestly, with help. AI is the first layer of that help, and only works if you give it something real to read. A human who listens well is the next layer, where the deepest value lives. A survey makes both possible.

Your Company

World-class rigor. Real learning. Real performance.

Thirty years of advising CEOs, boards, and ownership groups on what actually drives performance inside teams. The instruments here are the same ones we use with paying clients. Published because the delivery costs pennies and the wisdom belongs to the field. The learning they surface shows up in the business, not just in the HR survey results.

Yourself

Honest answers. Real reflection. Real growth.

The work starts when you sit with a set of questions and answer them honestly, for yourself. The scored report, the AI interpretation, any conversation afterward: all of it exists to support that reflection. The growth happens in you, not in the system around you.

Why this exists

We have spent thirty years designing surveys and coaching the people who take them. Not as vendors, not as academics. Practitioners who built instruments and then watched leaders, HR professionals, and teams work through them. That dual craft is what this library reflects.

An AI system without structured input is the model talking to itself. Its interpretation is recycled pattern, not a real read. A survey is how you give it something real to analyze: your answers, your emphases, what you revised, what you wrote in your own words when the Likert scale would not do. Grounding AI in a respondent’s actual data is the difference between analysis as mirror and analysis as useful.

The work does not happen in the instrument. It happens in the respondent looking at their own read: seeing something validated, something challenged, something named they had not found language for. The scored report is the shape that makes that possible. What it surfaces is what matters.

In 2026 the delivery of a professional-grade survey costs pennies per respondent. Vendors charging five to six figures a year are pricing a decade-old cost structure. The budget that once went to the pipe should go to the people the pipe serves. Every instrument here is the same instrument we use with our advisory clients. Free, full fidelity, no lead form. Use them.

How the reports work

Finish an instrument. Your responses are scored against our normative database and a written interpretation is generated specific to your answer pattern. You see it on screen. Provide an email and you also receive a PDF. That is the entirety of the interaction.

Privacy

Your responses are yours. We store them to generate your report and to improve normative benchmarks in aggregate. We do not sell your data and we do not share individual responses. You can write to us at any time to request deletion.

Security

Data is stored on enterprise infrastructure and accessed only by Grey Matter Partners. In any group smaller than three respondents, team responses are collapsed in reports so individuals cannot be identified.

Bringing this inside your organization

Every instrument here can be deployed under your own brand today. Your logo on the taker experience, your logo on the reports, nothing of ours in front of your people unless you want it there. White-label is live in our existing brand interface.

If your InfoSec or IT team wants to audit the code, review the data handling, or run the whole thing through your own systems before you put a respondent in, we welcome it. The more rigorous your security bar, the better the conversation.

For enterprise deployments, respondent data can stay in your environment rather than ours. SOC 2 Type II is on the roadmap and will be in place before any enterprise deployment ships.
