Rob Tucker is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Grey Matter Partners. He works as an advisor for senior leaders in science, technology and engineering organizations. In the past sixteen years, his work has taken him all over the world with more than one hundred and fifty client organizations. He has worked extensively in China, East Asia, South America and Europe. Prior to founding Grey Matter Partners, Rob was a Principal at Leadership Research Institute, a leadership development firm based in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Before that, he was a college professor, earning a Ph.D. in technical communication from the Annenberg School at the University of Southern California. His doctoral work examined best practices in "science translation," examining the ways in which non-technical policy makers can effectively make decisions in the context of rapidly evolving science and technology.
Rob lectures frequently on the future of technology and finance and his work has been published in wide range of public and academic outlets. He’s a practicing artist, an avid outdoorsman, and the father of four. He lives with his wife and family in Bellevue, Washington.
